Vento CFD offers software solutions for simulation in the wind tunnel, in the urban environment, indoor comfort and outdoor comfort.


The numerical code integrates a structured grid with the immersed boundary method so as to be able to analyze complex structures in a short time, with high precision. The software allows you to easily handle complex 3D models and manage preprocessing in just a few steps.

The immersed contour approach allows the creation of the structured mesh independently of the geometry, removing this burden from the user

The software integrates thermal analysis and allows you to monitor different quantities such as forces and moments, thermal exchanges, temperatures, flow rates and mass exchanges for inlets and outlets. Accurate analyzes can be carried out over time and analyze the transport and dispersion of pollutants.

Post processing features allow you to view current lines, velocity vectors and select individual probes. This information can be easily exported, even as animations.

Computational Fluid Dynamics

CFD or computational fluid dynamics is a technique that uses numerical analysis to solve fluid dynamics problems through the computer .

The main use is to solve the Navier-Stokes equations for different types of flow. The typical approach involves discretising the fluid domain in a mesh grid on which to apply iterative solution methods.

Vento AEC

There is the Vento AEC version developed ad hoc for the world of architecture and urban planning. The software is perfectly integrated with the BIM language and allows you to do wind and ventilation analyzes with quick and easy-to-set analyzes.

Vento adds to professionals the possibility of determining the wind load and therefore forces and moments on the surfaces and distributions of the Cp for buildings and complex structures. It is also possible to analyze the propagation of fumes and pollutants.

These features are designed for the “Architectural Engineering and Construction” world where you can see the collaboration between architects, engineers and professionals in the design of residential and / or commercial areas. This market is currently growing and will reach a value of 10.5 trillion dollars by 2023.

At the base of the revolution in this sector lies BIM, Building Information Modeling, that is a digital information system composed of a 3D model that is integrated with the physical, performance and functional data of the building. That is, this interdisciplinary model is shared and allows information to be traced on the entire life cycle of the work, from design to construction, up to its demolition and disposal.
